Description
"A collection of basic source documents on land questions. It is a mixture of backgrounders, history old and recent, and case studies, filled up with occasional filers such as poems or quotations". Includes articles and newspaper clippings. "the bulk of the Landpack is made up of papers about specific land grievances. In the south, the Ngaitahu claim in general, plus details of five Ngaitahu areas; also Whakarewa in Nelson, plus lands given to the church in trust in Wellington and Auckland. There are papers on Motunui, Horowhenua, Raglan, Takaparawha (Bastion Point) and Maioro. There are accounts of hearings of the Waitangi Tribunal and objections to the Whakatane District Scheme".
